CONCEPT TO REALITY

Submerged, the aim for this project was to create a well populated environment with multiple props working towards a common theme. The project started as a class assignment where I had to create an interior environment with props matching to a theme. I chose to do a submarine environment of a treasure hunter, with lantern, pen, inkwell, control panel, pipes etc.

Initially when I started working on this project, I was well versed in beginner techniques in maya and found myself working effectively with the software. I had initially textured everything in substance painter and at the time I had not learnt UDIMS or procedural materials. The first take on the environment was an ill optimised render but at the time it was one of my best works.
